POLICY

BOOKING AN APPOINTMENT

All bookings are done via my online booking system, you are required to save your card details onto your account in order to make a booking If you require nail art or any additional services these must be booked along with desired service as it gives me the correct amount of time to do what it is your asking for, if these aren’t booked I will only have time to do what you have booked in for.

There is a detailed service guide on my website that will help you decide what services are best suited for you to book. Out of hours appointments are available upon request for an additional £10, these are subject to availability.

NEW CLIENTS

If it is your first time getting your nails done at Shape, then you must arrive with bare nails. This means no product at all on your nail plate. I will not remove product applied by other nail technicians due to unfamiliarity of product and techniques, I have had issues removing product from different technicians before and will not be liable for damage to your nails, so please get this removed before your appointment.

CANCELLATIONS & NO-SHOWS

A minimum of 48 hours notice must be given when rescheduling or cancelling appointments. If you reschedule or cancel your appointment without this notice period you will be charged 50% of your treatment booked as a cancellation fee.

If you cancel on the day of your appointment you will be charged 100% of the treatment booked.

If you no-show your appointment without any given notice you will be charged 100% of the treatment booked.

These cancellation fees will be charged directly to the card saved in the booking system.

LATENESS

If you are more 15 minutes late to your appointment and have not contacted me this will be classed as no-show and you will be charged. I understand lateness, just please contact me accordingly.

CHANGING A SERVICE

If you require a different or additional service by the time your appointment is coming up, you must contact me 48 hours prior to your appointment as I may need to reschedule depending on time frames. You cannot change which service you have booked online.

WHEN DO I NEED TO CHANGE A SERVICE?

If you have lost more than 5 nails and you need them extended, you will need to change your appointment to builder gel extensions or I will not have time. If you have lost less than 5 I can fix these in your appointment time. If you are wanting more nail art than originally planned, you must change this or I will not have time as I only have time to give you what you have booked for.

MAINTENANCE

Infill appointments should be every 2-4 weeks depending on how well the product lasts on your nails and your lifestyle. It is your responsibility to get your maintenance appointments booked. I will not be responsible for nail breakages due to poorly scheduled infill appointments.

MINIMUM AGE

You must be over the age of 16 to book at an appointment at Shape. This is due to insurance and skin and nails being more sensitive to product allergens.
